OFFICE MANAGER

The YWCA Northeast Kansas is actively seeking an Office Manager to join their team. Duties include to organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety to accomplish YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

FIRST SHIFT SHELTER ADVOCATE

YWCA Northeast Kansas Center for Safety and Empowerment is actively seeking a first shift shelter advocate to join their team. Duties include maintaining a safe and confidential environment for clients of the CSE Shelter, providing services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking and/or abuse, providing advocacy and/or transportation to clients for community appointments as requested, such as medical, mental health and housing, to provide a supportive presence. Candidates must be passionate about YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
