VICTIM SERVICES COORDINATOR

YWCA Northeast Kansas Center for Safety and Empowerment is actively seeking a Victim Services Coordinator to join their team. Duties include providing administrative and program support for an agency serving victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Candidates must be passionate about YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Position is salary, full-time Monday – Friday, on-call required. For more information, check out the full job description.

LEAD TEACHER - PRESCHOOL ROOM

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate daily activities in assigned classroom that corresponds with center themes and program philosophy. Lesson plans should include gross-motor skills, fine-motor skills, literacy, identification, and emotional/mental growth activities along with others defined by Center Director. Provide safe, stimulating, creative environment for children and actively engage in daily routine and activities with children. Develop and maintain positive, effective, appropriate relationships with children and families. Assess all areas of development using ELC Early Learning Assessments on a quarterly basis. ELC Early Learning Assessments are developed by the YWCA Youth Services Department to meet Kansas Early Learning Standards. A student portfolio shall be developed for each child, daily communication should be kept, and two parent teacher conferences each year shall be held to update families on their child's development and address any concerns.

THIRD SHIFT SHELTER ADVOCATE

YWCA Northeast Kansas Center for Safety and Empowerment is actively seeking a third shift shelter advocate to join their team. Duties include maintaining a safe and confidential environment for clients of the CSE Shelter, providing services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking and/or abuse, providing advocacy and/or transportation to clients for community appointments as requested, such as medical, mental health and housing, to provide a supportive presence. Candidates must be passionate about YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Position is salary, full-time Sunday – Thursday 11:30PM – 8:00AM. For more information, check out the full job description.
