Human Trafficking

Since January 1, 2014, the YWCA has served victims of human trafficking. Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others.

The YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment is here to help. Our service area includes Shawnee, Jackson, and Wabaunsee Counties in Kansas. We offer services in three areas: safety, support and prevention.
