 International Olympic Day

 Join us as we celebrate International Olympic Day and the 45th Anniversary of Title IX!

Activities will include curriculum from USA Rugby (Try on Rugby). There is no contact involved during this fun session of games and activities designed to introduce participants to the game of rugby.


For ages 5-16. Join in the fun and learn more about the fastest growing Olympic Sport in the USA and the World. 


 No Cost but we ask participants to pre-register so we can have an accurate count for equipment.  


 Friday, June 23 at the YWCA of Northeast Kansas, 225 SW 12th Street, Topeka


Check-in from 5:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Activities from 5:30 p.m. -8:00 p.m.

June 5-9 –Calm, Cool, & Creative – The girls will explore different ways to express themselves, celebrate our differences, and overcome daily pressures.

June 12-16 - Fit, Fun, and Fabulous – This session focuses on the physical health of the girl, including nutrition and life-long activities.

July 17-21 – Mighty, Bold & Confident- This session will help girls find their strength and inner confidence. Girls will learn skills to help prepare them for being a young adult and to build self-esteem.

July 24-28 – Giving, Impacting, and Transforming– This session focuses on the impact individuals can have on their world. Girls will learn how they define community and the impact they can have on their world.


Participants : Girls- Grades 5-8 (as of 2017-2018 school year)

Program Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday (early drop off available)

Location: YWCA of Northeast Kansas, 225 SW 12th Street, Topeka

Fee: $125/week or $425 for entire program

Registration includes: Program t-shirt, water bottle, field trips, snacks, lunch, and supplies.
