DCF Case Manager – Center for Safety and Empowerment

Maintains a safe and confidential environment for clients of the YWCA Northeast Kansas Center for Safety and Empowerment (CSE) who are receiving cash assistance, SNAP benefits, and/or childcare assistance from the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF). Provides advocacy and case management services to victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault

Takes rotation as backup staff on-call, providing support for crisis calls as needed after hours

Participates in all YWCA and community activities for the Center for Safety and Empowerment.  Advocates for domestic violence and sexual assault clients in Jackson and Wabaunsee County.

Lead Teacher (Float) – Early Learning Center

Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate daily activities in classrooms ranging from 1 year-old and walking to Pre-Kindergarten that corresponds with center themes and program philosophy. Provide safe, stimulating, creative environment for children and actively engage in daily routine and activities with children. Develop and maintain positive, effective, appropriate relationships with children and families. Assist as needed in the classroom to perform daily duties. Diversity and Inclusion is expected to be included in all curriculum developed and implemented.
