Civil Court Advocate, Center for Safety and Empowerment

YWCA Northeast Kansas Center for Safety and Empowerment is actively seeking a Civil Court Advocate to join their team. Duties include providing assistance in completing Protection from Abuse and Protection from Stalking Orders, supporting clients through court proceedings, and providing crisis intervention. Candidates should be knowledgeable of local resources, an ability to relate well to people in crisis, basic knowledge of domestic violence and sexual assault dynamics, and must be passionate about YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Assistant Teacher, Early Learning Center

YWCA Northeast Kansas Early Learning Center is actively seeking a an energetic, dedicated individual to join our childcare team! Duties include assisting in implementing developmentally appropriate daily activities in assigned classroom that corresponds with center themes and program philosophy. Lesson plans should include gross-motor skills, fine-motor skills, literacy, identification, and emotional/mental growth activities along with others defined by Center Director. Candidates must be passionate about YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

This position will be full time/part time and compensation is negotiable. Work Schedule: 6:30am – 6:00pm (varies depending on need)
