Human Trafficking Coordinator, Center for Safety and Empowerment
YWCA Northeast Kansas Center for Safety and Empowerment is actively seeking a Human Trafficking Coordinator to join their team. Duties include acting as the first responder to most HT calls for the agency, providing crisis counseling and case management services to HT victims, and collaborating with community coordinated responses to HT. Candidates should be knowledgeable of local resources, an ability to relate well to people in crisis, have experience working with victims of HT, domestic violence and/or sexual abuse, and must be passionate about YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Out-of-School Time Administrator, Youth Services
YWCA Northeast Kansas Youth Services is actively seeking an Out-of-School Time Administrator to join their team. Duties include assisting with the oversight, evaluation and growth of the Kids Quest before/after school, Girls on the Run, School Day Out, and summer camp programs. This position works collaboratively with the Youth Services Program Director, site staff, and community partners in providing recreational and educational activities for an assigned group of children with particular emphasis on building self-confidence, creativity and social skills in a safe and caring environment that promotes the elimination of biases. This administrator will also assist with budget preparation and monitoring program spending. and must be passionate about YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Marketing and Development VISTA
As a YWCA Northeast Kansas VISTA you will increase the organizational sustainability of a regional nonprofit by writing stories and developing multi-media content. VISTA objectives include: (1) Increasing public awareness of the YWCA’s mission and programs; (2) Continuing to develop, hone, and disseminate brand identity throughout the community to reach new audiences in order to increase our visibility; (3) Creating processes and streamlining administrative aspects of development activities including donor and public relations, direct mail appeals, and special events; (4) Organizing a continuous quality improvement process to capture best practices for tracking donor prospects, and (5) Producing quality reports that can be used on social media, traditional media, as well as complied for federal reporting requirements which demonstrate the anti-poverty and capacity building work being accomplished during your service term.
Position provides health coverage, choice of Education Award or End of Service Stipend, training, a relocation allowance, childcare assistance if eligible, education award upon successful completion of service, and a living allowance.
