Volunteer and Administrative Coordinator

Recruits volunteers, organizes office administration and procedures, and gives a voice to the YWCA mission of eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Working closely with the CEO and program directors, this position ensures organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of our volunteer programs and administrative operations.

Shelter Advocate, First Shift – Center for Safety and Empowerment

Maintains a safe and confidential environment for clients of the CSE Shelter. Provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking and/or abuse. Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Shelter Advocate, Second Shift Supervisor – Center for Safety and Empowerment

Maintains a safe and confidential environment for clients of the CSE Shelter. Supervises part-time and PRN shelter advocate staff. Provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking and/or abuse. Work Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Assistant Teacher – YWCA Early Learning Center

Full time positions available at YWCA Early Learning Center 6:45 – 8:30, 3:30-6:00 before and after school program as an assistant teacher/group leader.

Assists in implementing developmentally appropriate daily activities in assigned classroom that corresponds with center themes and program philosophy. Provides safe, stimulating, creative environment for children and actively engage in daily routine and activities with children.
