Public Education and Training

at the YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment

A key component of the critical work at the Center for Safety and Empowerment is partnering with professionals and community leaders who are often a first contact for victims of domestic violence and trafficking. Participants in community presentations and professional trainings learn how to recognize signs of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking; how to support victim-survivors; and how to contact and utilize the services provided at the YWCA Northeast Kansas Center for Safety and Empowerment.
